So much to do!

Big Banyan Vineyard & Resort offers the rare opportunity to witness a real farm with all its trappings. Home to a wide range of animals and birds, enjoy chancing on rabbits munching fresh grass in their pens, ducks bathing in their little pond; free-range chicken happily pecking around, while the turkey gobbles to its mate; take a paddle in the canoe while geese swim lazily around in the central stream, on just hang around as shepherds tend to the sheep and goats.

Apart from a range of exotic flora at the resort, all our fruit and vegetables are grown organically as well, from gooseberry, rose apple, varieties of guava, an abundance of mangoes, chikoo, figs, star fruit and a myriad other fruits. The organic farm at the far end of the resort grows all the vegetables served at the resort; ladies finger, beans, all kinds of peas, pumpkin, maize, spinach, bitter gourd, ash gourd, tapioca, tomatoes, eggplant, bananas, plantain, cucumber, chilli- the list goes on.

You and your family, friends or colleagues can take an active part in the resort’s farming activities. An ideal chance, especially for the little ones, to feel one with nature and have lots of fun too!

Our vineyards, where the sauvignon blanc and merlot grapes are grown, is definitely a major attraction as well. A guided tour that traverses through the vineyard to the Big Banyan Winery next door is a must-try experience. Enjoy the wine-tasting at the winery, and learn the nuances of wine appreciation from expert sommeliers. Wine paired lunch is a must-have as well. And pick a bottle or two of your favourite wine to take home as a souvenir of a day well spent!!
